Hi, I'm Dachelle. I am the owner of Literary Adventures for Kids, and I want to help you teach literature in a way that is easy for you and fun for your kids.
I'm a former traditional teacher turned homeschool mom. I have a passion for literature and for adding adventure to our homeschool. I started several poetry teatimes in my community with the idea that each poetry teatime should be a celebration of literature.
At Literary Adventures for Kids, I take those experiences and use them to create online poetry teatimes that add a little bit of magic to your children's education.

This course is designed for homeschool parents of children of all ages. The activities included range in skill to accommodate children from preschool to high school.
You will need the books listed in the Book List section of the course. You may also want a notebook for notes and vocabulary. The project supply list is provided at the beginning of the course. You may choose which projects you want to do.
This is a self-paced course. There are no starting or ending dates. Feel free to use at your leisure.
This course can take as long as you would like. It was designed for one year of poetry teatimes with a different theme for each month of school. It has enough poems and activities for one or more teatimes during the month.
We provide students with the opportunity to share their Writing Projects with us. If they choose to share, we will provide feedback in the form of critiques and encouragement. Some of our students use this option frequently, while others choose to submit their assignments to their parents.
Absolutely! We are a homeschooling family, and we encourage all our children to participate in poetry teatime.
We understand that not every book or course is the perfect fit. Due to the digital nature of this product, we are limited in how long we can offer a refund.
