What supplies will we need?

The book and project supply list are provided at the beginning of the course. You may choose which projects you want to do. You may also want a notebook for notes and vocabulary.

When does the course start and finish?

This is a self-paced course. There are no starting or ending dates. Feel free to use at your leisure.

How long should this unit study take my child?

The unit study is set up on a lesson-by-lesson basis. It can take as much or as little time as you and your child feel you want to spend. That said, the original design is for a one-year unit study. However, I recommend you choose which projects will be a good fit for your child and not feel obligated to complete all lessons.

What if I am unhappy with the course?

We understand that not every book or course is the perfect fit. Due to the digital nature of this product, we are limited in how long we can offer a refund. If you don't find that the course fits your family, please let us know within 5 days of purchase for a full refund. After that time, we will not be able to offer a full refund.

Will the teacher provide any feedback to the child on their projects?

We provide students with the opportunity to share in the comments with us. If they choose to share, we will provide feedback in the form of critiques and encouragement. Some of our students use this option frequently, while others choose to submit their assignments to their parents.

Can my child work through this independently?

Yes, this course is designed for children to complete mostly independently. There are sections for family reading that can be for the entire family or as an individual activity. However, parents should be available to help with projects and grade assignments. I recommend parents review the course before their children begin.

Can this be used for more than one child or as a family unit study?

Absolutely! We are a homeschooling family, and we encourage all our children to participate in our unit studes.
