Lit Loot Credit Terms
Think of this like a gift voucher, but for yourself and your homeschool.
You can use the credit towards something bigger, or you can get lots of different smaller things. It can't be applied to past purchases, so make sure you apply your Lit Loot before checking out.
You can use it for (almost) anything Literary Adventures for Kids offers (including 1:1 offers) - see below for more details.
Promotions and launches are a great time to redeem your Lit Loot. If Literary Adventures for Kids is launching or there are any bonuses/early birds/discounts/whatever goodies are available, your credit is directly equivalent to paying, so you'll get any extras/discounts too. 
What can you spend Lit Loot on?
Lit Loot can be redeemed for (almost) anything Literary Adventures for Kids sells - minus a few exceptions (detailed below).

Lit Loot cannot be redeemed for:
- Affiliate products Dachelle recommends but are not owned by Literary Adventures for Kids
- Memberships/ongoing subscriptions (*except for/towards the initial payment)
- More Lit Loot
- Any collaborative offers (where more than one business is creating/delivering/contributing to the offer/service)
How to spend your Lit Loot:
Ready to spend some or all of your Credit? Just fill out this form, and we will take care of the rest.
You'll either:
1. Receive a coupon to use at checkout
2. Receive a custom payment link with instructions to follow
3. Be given access to the offer(s) directly
We get a high volume of credit redemption requests, especially around launches and sales, and we'll typically process yours within 48 hours (Mon-Fri).
If you’re emailing to redeem Credit within the final few hours of an offer or promotion, please be mindful that:
- we’re in the Central Time zone and
- there will be a high volume of requests to redeem Credit at this time.
Provided we've received your request via the form above before the deadline, any discounts, offers, or bonuses will still be honored for at least 24 hours after we’ve responded to your request to use your Credit.
Please note that you're not able to spend less than $5 Lit Loot towards a purchase (unless you purchased the Lit Loot). For example, if you receive $10 Lit Loot as a bonus or prize and spend $9 of it, the remaining $1 cannot be applied to a future purchase.
Lit Loot is valid for a fixed period of time from the date of purchase/issue.
If you purchased Lit Loot, it expires five (5) years from the date of purchase.
If the Lit Loot was gifted, the expiration date is listed in your confirmation email.
The validity period of your Lit Loot is confirmed in writing at the point of purchase/issue.
The last day of your Lit Loot being valid is known as your Expiration Date. Lit Loot expires at midnight Central time on the Expiration Date.
Any unused Lit Loot expires on the Expiration Date and cannot be redeemed after that point.
Expiration Date extensions will not be given, except in extenuating circumstances, which will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
As a courtesy, we send you an automated email reminder 60 days, 30 days, and 7 days before your Lit Loot Expiration Date. However, please be mindful that it is your responsibility to use your Lit Loot before the Expiration Date.
Credit is Non-Refundable and Non-Transferable
Lit Loot is Non-Refundable
Lit Loot is non-refundable under any circumstances, except where required by Tennessee law.
If, in the event you wish to claim a refund on a purchase you made using Lit Loot (either in full or in part), you must follow the refund request process as laid out in our Terms + Conditions.
Any full or partial payments that were made using Lit Loot will be refunded in Lit Loot (not in cash). We will adjust Expiration Dates accordingly if necessary.
Lit Loot is Non-Transferable
Lit Loot cannot be transferred to another person, business, or member of your team under any circumstances. Your Lit Loot is yours and yours alone to spend.
If you have Credit Balances across multiple email addresses, we can consolidate them into a single address at your request.
Lit Loot is Not Redeemable for Cash.
We Reserve the Right to Remove or Restrict Lit Loot Usage
Where Lit Loot has been given as a bonus, a gift, a courtesy, a fun surprise, or under any other circumstance (with the exception of Lit Loot that has been purchased), we reserve the right to remove, revoke, restrict, or otherwise make void Lit Loot balances in case of abuse or exceptional circumstances.
For example, if a payment plan falls into arrears, we may restrict the ability to redeem Lit Loot until we're squared away. These circumstances will be handled at our discretion on a case-by-case basis.
